Lionel Messi - Early Life and Career

Many people consider Lionel Messi as the best football player ever lived. He's go 3 Ballon d'Or-s and he basically set every record playing in Barcelona. And he's only 24.
Lionel Messi was born in 24 June 1987. He was born in Rosario, Santa Fe Province, to parents Jorge Horacio Messi, Celia Maria Cuccittini, a part-time cleaner. His origins go back to Italy. In 1883, Angelo Messi immigrated to Argentina. He has two older brothers, Rodrigo and Matias, and a sister, Maria Sol.
When he turned 5, Messi joined the local team Grandoli. After that in 1995, he switched to Newell's Old Boys. When he was 11, he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency. Many teams were interested in Messi, but they couldn't afford the 900$ medical bill for his medicines. The sporting coach of Barcelona offered him a contract; it stated that the club will pay the bill, but Messi and his family must move to Barcelona. He signed it, so a week later he and his father moved to Barcelona and Messi enrolled into the club's youth academy.
This is a video of him playing in Newell's Old Boys team.
